Soundbound plays and downloads through pluggable sources. Add the extensions repo inside the app, or copy its URL from the button above.

Install on Android

  1. Open Soundbound on Google Play and tap Install.
  2. Open the app and sign in — your profile follows you across devices.
  3. Add sources (see the repo section above) and start listening.

Install on Windows

  1. Download the installer above (v2.0.6, 64-bit .msi).
  2. Run it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Launch Soundbound from the Start Menu.

Since v2.0.0 the desktop app bundles VLC & FFmpeg — no extra installs needed.

Install on macOS

  1. Pick the build for your chip above — arm64 for Apple Silicon (M-series), x64 for Intel Macs.
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Soundbound into Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open to pass Gatekeeper.

Install on Linux

  1. Download the .deb package above (v2.0.6, x64).
  2. Install it from your terminal:

sudo dpkg -i Soundbound-2.0.6-x64-linux-portable.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

Then launch Soundbound from your applications menu.
