Install on Android

  1. Download the app above.
  2. Open it. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser — grant it, then tap Install.
  3. Open the app and sign in — your profile follows you across devices.
  4. Add sources (see the repo section above) and start listening.

Install on Windows

  1. Download the installer above.
  2. Run it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Launch Soundbound from the Start Menu.

Since v2.0.0 the desktop app bundles VLC & FFmpeg — no extra installs needed.

Install on macOS

  1. Pick the version for your Mac above — Apple Siliconfor M1 and newer, Intel for older Macs.
  2. Open the download and drag Soundbound into Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open to pass Gatekeeper.

Install on Linux

  1. Download the app above for your computer.
  2. Make it executable and run it:

Nothing to install — it runs as-is. Keep it wherever you like.
