Soundbound plays and downloads through pluggable sources. Add the extensions repo inside the app, or copy its URL from the button above.

Install on Android
- Open Soundbound on Google Play and tap Install.
- Open the app and sign in — your profile follows you across devices.
- Add sources (see the repo section above) and start listening.
Install on Windows
- Download the installer above (v2.0.6, 64-bit
.msi). - Run it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
- Launch Soundbound from the Start Menu.
Since v2.0.0 the desktop app bundles VLC & FFmpeg — no extra installs needed.
Install on macOS
- Pick the build for your chip above — arm64 for Apple Silicon (M-series), x64 for Intel Macs.
- Open the
.dmgand drag Soundbound into Applications. - On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open to pass Gatekeeper.
Install on Linux
- Download the
.debpackage above (v2.0.6, x64). - Install it from your terminal:

sudo dpkg -i Soundbound-2.0.6-x64-linux-portable.deb
sudo apt-get install -fThen launch Soundbound from your applications menu.
Troubleshooting
